Don’t worry about the water level

Water levels have dropped bc we’re behind on rain for the same time period last year. But this doesn’t mean we won’t catch up. The first rain was later so the needed rain might accumulate later

The first tiny green plants have been born

In the video is a look at what’s going on in Poriya Ilit as of today!
Also, I sent Asher (the shepherd) a text. His ewes have just started birthing this month.
Remember last year the lambs started Oct 31 and the green came on Nov 7 in 2020. This year it is a later Gregorian date by about 16 days on the green. I’ll swing by Asher’s farm hopefully this week and get some video of the new lambs and see if he will tell me the exact date.

This is always so thrilling when I get to see the process for the biblical year kick off this way.

what an interesting time on the land

1) EVERYONE is talking about these photos and saying the rains usually PRECEDE the blooming and many have stated they have never seen the flowers before the rains
2) this is just a sampling in addition to the other photos of Lupine, cyclamen, and the (almond trees reported today and a couple of days earlier as well)
3) the blooming is happening eveywhere
4) I have seen no wild barley, wheat, or oat grass
5) from the beginning I’ve told you my job is to REPORT what I see. That doesn’t always mean I know the significance but I do know it’s crazy out of character for what we usually see.
