From New Moon to New Moon

This isn’t directed at anyone of the people who approached me about this month’s count of the days between the moons. By the way, there were several individuals.

This has been something that feels like when your body gets a sticker or a splinter, but it’s in my spirit, and ergo my thoughts keep returning to this situation.

I have to tell you to be so very careful with ‘scientific facts’.  I firmly believe the groups that requires an equinox-equilux worship those signs, that is, give more authority them (science) than the Yah that created the sun, moon, and stars.

Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Could this be part of the reason that there could be an issue with science this month? Where are we told to count the days between the new moons every month? Aren’t we required to count the days from the new moon, that is the sighting of the new moon, to arrive at the feast dates?

Could Yah be asking us to return to waiting on His sign rather than to lean upon an enumeration supplied by science?

Deu 4:19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

Then He says

Deu 4:26 I call *heaven and earth to witness against you this day*, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

And

Deu 4:32 **For ask now of the days that are past**,WHICH WERE BEFORE THEE, SINCE THE DAY THAT GOD CREATED MAN UPON THE EARTH, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

In Hebraic though, the past is in front of us; it is seen and known. The future is behind us; it is not seen or known.

Some that came to me were in a bit of a small panic because the future couldn’t be calculated, therefore not known or seen.

Our model for the future requires faith in the Creator, not faith in the science and what Yah created. Did Adam or Abraham count the days between the moons or did they just watch and wait (which is a HUGE thought throughout scriptures)?

Mat 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Humans struggle with this; we have instant everything these days. Maybe more so in our generation with so much access to information because of the world-wide-web; such a good name for it.

While w.w.w. has been a blessing on many levels it has also offered a curse of entrapment. Rather like the garden scene, WE are required not to seek after the knowledge tree but to choose the life tree; which is trust and obedience to HIM.
