https://www.youtube.com/attribution_link?a=pV19uhVllqE&u=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DTFuj7sXVnIU%26feature%3DshareI took a weaving class last week. My eye is on learning the steps to hand process the wild flax of the Galilee into linen. This year will probably consist more of harvesting the seeds for next year’s planting and maybe experimenting with a small bundle of flax to linen. But what a wonderful blessing that the same flax that graced the area when Yeshua walked here is still available for me to use in the process. It just amazes me as I look across the land and see the destruction created by our modern age: clearing and scaring of the earth; that Elohim has kept his protecting hand on so much of what we need to determine the biblical calendar. Living here I want to shout to the world HOW can you say these things are no longer important when Yehovah Himself has taken the care to preserve them?!
In watching the video I couldn’t help but notice how the plant was ‘uprooted’ from its nativity (as Abraham), and soaked in water (the word), then it was left to dry and die in the sun (drying to self/flesh), after the flax was dead and dried it was roughly beaten and cleansed of everything that was not fine or pure linen hairs (whom the Father loves He chastens, being in the world but not of the world) until finally fine linen hair like fibers were produced. The physical steps are such a picture of the selection of the Bride, being The Chosen that are dressed in fine linen, that will be covered by Yeshua’s undivided linen vesture with the fringe and blue ribband in an act of covenant marriage. Those who are known to Him by their works of their pure religion: that is the love and care for one another. Those that keep the commandments of Elohim, those that know Yeshua and love their lives not unto death. Only when the linen is free from any unnecessary fibers can it be spun together with other linen hairs to make the yarn that is woven into a single spotless garment The Bride is adorned in.
The Law is an agricultural language set to the land, plants, and natural systems of the land Israel and Elohim has preserved them for this generation.
Beautiful, truly beautiful.Updated Jan 21, 2018, 5:24 PM
