So far this is the news that I can find that has happened since yesterday. First of all we have conflicting stories that the iaf jet was shot down and that it was not shot down. One report says that there was a lock on against the jet and protocol demanded that the pilots eject. However other news sources also in Israel say that the jet was damaged by a missile. Indeed the Arab News sources show photos of a missile that was supposedly used that hit the Israeli jet. The mayor of Tzfat has told his citizens in light of the fact that the Iron Dome has been deployed to his area that they should prepare to protect themselves. We had an explosion in Nahariyah yesterday. Nahariyah is to the west and far north the country not far from the Lebanon border. It could have been Iranian fire, more than likely it was Hezbollah joining in the party. As well yesterday the Red Alert was sounded in Beit She’an and also in Be’er Sheva which is to the south in Israel. While it’s possible all these events were orchestrated by Iran it’s more likely that ISIS joined in the party as they are in the Sinai between Israel and Egypt. The event in Be’er Sheva is documented with photos it is not hearsay. Also within our borders last night the IDF were fighting skirmishes with the Muslims in the Muslim held areas of Israel. And finally last night Israel struck a Iranian military base in Syria during the night time. Last year I said that when Israel next went to war we would be fighting at all of our borders and within our borders, it seems like that day has come closerUpdated Feb 11, 2018, 8:01 AM

Brian C. Hoeck I apologize if you need to remove this. I’m trying to respond to Larry Sterner but it will not allow me to add the text as a response. Larry, this is why I don’t believe we ever sowed barley seeds in Israel, ever.
I believe the scripture shows us the Israelites were to never again plant and water barley fields after they left Egypt.
Ex 3:21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptian: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
Ex 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
Without a doubt, the Israelites left Egypt with some of the wealth of their captors but the emptiness Elohim mentions was to teach them the blessing of obedience that their bellies would not go empty.
Ex 23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread seven days as I commanded there, in the time appointed of the month of the Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty; )
Notice what Elohim calls the âfruits of our laborâ
Ex 23:16 And the feast of harvest (wheat), the first fruits of thy labours, which THOU hast sown in the field; and the feast of ingathering, which in in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in they labours out of the field.
Ex 34:20 18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt. 19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male. 20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty. 21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
Barley is still not mentioned as sown by man. ×××× groups other elements that man is required to bring a portion of as âfirst fruitsâ. Things that man can not âsow/workâ to make happen, things that come from Elohim as increase, as a blessing of obedience.
Paul says all flesh is represented by a seed and uses âseedâ and âbodyâ interchangeably:
1 Cor 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain; 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
The Israelites did sow and water barley fields (all seeds) in Egypt. But look what God promises the Israelites about the land they were to possess:
Deut 11:10 For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs: 11 But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: 12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
In that passage, He said they would not sow seeds, yet in Ex 23:16 he says that we will sow WHEAT seeds. The seeds that the Israelites didnât have to or need to sow were barley seeds.
This is what we see in Joshua. Joshua 3:15 says it was harvest time so the barley was at least aviv. Joshua 5:11 said that they ate their 1) stored corn (×××ר) from the landâ¦.barley which they had harvested from the other side of Jordan, Iâll explain my understanding of this in the following paragraph 2) Matzah roasted (××¦× ×§××) (aviv barley roasted) in the day AFTER the Passover. They ate both barley they had carried with them and the aviv barley that was already there in the land.
Are we to believe the Israelites sowed barley seeds and harvested a barley crop on the journey to the land? Or are we to believe that indigenous barley in Israel and even on the other side of the Jordan was even more abundant on the land than it is now when there were no houses, no cities, no highways, no scaring on the earth?
It is my greatest desire that every believer passionately seeking to please the Messiah and keep the commandment of ×××× could come to Israel and SEE the VAST amount of wild barley that Elohim has been planting and watering in on this land since BEFORE Joshua brought the Israelites across the Jordan River. Without having seen this there is almost no way to comprehend that it grows everywhere across the nation and even in the areas that we now call Syria and Jordan.
Lev 23 says nothing about sowing, only about âcoming into the land and reapingâ:
Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD. 13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin. 14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Besides the promise that the Israelites would not have to sow barley seeds, if we look to the domestic crops from last year (2017) I can witness to you that the domestic wheat was harvested before the indigenous barley was ready. And the domestic barley was not in sync with the indigenous barley. The domestic crops do not follow the natural ebb and flow of the land of Israel because they are manipulated. This year the domestic wheat will be ready after the indigenous barley is aviv, last year the domestic wheat fields were cut before the indigenous barley was aviv. However, if the domestic wheat is left in the field until the following year and reseeds itself and the new crop is left to grow unattended, the new crop of wheat will be ready on Shavuot in sync with the indigenous barley because the wheat has returned to the rhythm of the land just as the indigenous barley also grows to the rhythm of the land.
Now the spiritual. Paul says the natural come first and then the spiritual. Itâs the natural thatâs the typology of the spiritual.
1 Cor 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
My understanding is that the barley Wave Sheaf at Firstfruits represents, The One preeminent in ALL things who is the Messiah 1) the Messiah was the Rosh HaBikkurim (Col 1:18) 2) the seven weeks of barley harvest until the time of Shavuot represents all moral man that ever lived or will live.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Since Yeshua was the Son of Man and the Son of God when He rose from the dead on First Fruits as the Wave Sheaf offering He rose as Wheat, the first fruits from the dead (Col 1:18) He was predestined to be preeminent/first in all things. It is by His preeminence that He leads the way for mankind back to being eternal Sons of Elohim.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
The unleavened barley cakes contained olive oil which is the spirit of Elohim that leads us into His deeper truths (1 Cor 2:10), The Quickening Power (1 Cor 15:45), The Ernest (Eph 1:14) against the promise of an incorruptible body (1 Cor 15:53-55) and is what the five wise virgins carried in their vessels to keep their lamps burning (Mat 25:1-13). The reason we do not âplantâ barley seeds is that no one can âworkâ/ cause himself to be born and we are all born into the slavery of sin through the first Adam; in the same way, the Israelites were born into the slavery of Egypt.
1 Cor 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Seven weeks of barley harvest represents the redemption of mankind (barley), the calling and the selection of the Bride of Yeshua (barley without leaven with the addition of olive oil) and the maturing of the Bride into the perfect image of her Husband.
For forty days after His resurrection, Yeshua Elohim in His wheat body walked with his disciple, as He did for forty years in the wilderness before He took up His barley body. Acts 1:3 Infallible truths speaking things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
Ten days after His ascension at Shavuot the Holy Spirit was sent/given to these our mortal (barley) bodies, Paul calls the Holy Spirit the Earnest against the promise. We received a ânew puffâ, which the KJV badly translates as a new lump (1 Cor 5:7). Another words our Earnest or our olive oil in unleavened barley cakes promises us that if we qualify to be the Bride by having oil in our vessels for our lamps we will again be eternal Sons of God as in the garden when Elohim âpuffedâ into Adam the âpuffâ of life Gen 2:7. When we are resurrected or are caught up we become wheat (1 Cor 15:37) which is when we put on our incorruptible body. When we are given our incorruptible bodies we are changed from unleavened barley with olive oil to wheat loaves leavened with a Puff of the Quicken Power that also raised Yeshua from the dead. Paul says all bodies have their own seed 1 Cor 15:35-38
1 Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven (that resided in the barley bread, that is fleshy sins), that ye may be a new lump (puff), as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Gen 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed (puffed) into his nostrils the breath (puff) of life; and man became a living soul.
1 Cor 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
The reason we plant wheat is because it is the work of those called to be the Bride of Messiah to be found worthy and waiting. To have the fruits of the spirit, to love each other as Messiah loved us, to keep the commandments. Our work is to become that kennel of wheat that is raised into a new puff, in a new wheat loaf body. Our work is to become as our Messiah was: He was, perfect, fully mature.
Did you see how Paul said âit may chance of wheatâ? The Father calls and the Son or the Bridegroom chooses.
Mat 22:1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
What was it the Bridegroom said to the foolish virgin when they tried to get in at the marriage ceremony?
Matthew 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
The only way the timing for this works out on the land of Israel, from an agricultural perspective is if we are using indigenous barley that Elohim has been planting since before Joshua crossed the Jordan River with the Israelites. It is the only way we achieve seven Sabbaths and can also find domestic wheat left unattended that is ready in time for Shavuot. This is exactly what we found last year. Unattended abandon domestic wheat ready for Shavuot. Thatâs why WHICH barley we use to determine the Chodesh HaAviv is so very important. Without this pattern, we are not correctly representing our Kinsman Redeemer or His Bride.
This is why I only use the wild indigenous barley in Israel.Updated Feb 18, 2018, 9:59 PM

There’s so much news to keep up with today. So far we know that Syria is accusing Israel of disrupting media in Syria and in Gaza today. We also have heard from Lebanon and have been forbidden to use their airspace to attack Syria. It appears a projectile fell in Lebanon, from whom I don’t do not know.
