Thank you SO much for the add. I’m excited I thought to look on Facebook for such a group as this.

My husband and I have finally arrived on the same page after two years of me talking, explaining and chipping away at his resistance 🙂 Our next step is to lease a tiny 1-2 bedroom house with a large yard. And I will build the yurt from the ground up. We can do such things here in Israel if the zoning is right. The little house will be for storage, bathroom and kitchen as well as our source to electricity in the yurt. We will be testing our wings and figuring out what’s important in our possessions as we go forward into a more minimalistic lifestyle.

We have until July to figure out the next location and to complete this first downsizing phase.

I will probably have a million and one questions.

Todah raba! Thanks a lot.Updated Jan 5, 2018, 5:59 PM

It’s amazing how with severe weather has brought a temporary peace to Israel. No terror. No rockets. With the heavy fog that is hanging in the air it feels like it has become a temporary, hidden and peaceful refuge here in our village and probably all of Israel, we aren’t that big of a nation, the size of New Jersey. Tomorrow we have 100% chance of rain so the peace will continue….prefect weather for entering into and enjoying Shabbat; snuggling in and holed up with the Word. On Sunday the storms will be over and the external struggles will resume between the people, but for now we rest.

Shabbat Shalom. Unless an army invades our borders or rockets fall on our heads no news will be posted on the Sabbath.Updated Jan 6, 2018, 7:52 AMPublished on Jan 5, 2018, 4:30 PM
